Existing space on two floors was renovated to install a new 1.5T MRI, two radiology rooms and a breast biopsy suite. New patient waiting areas, doctors' and technicians' work areas, and ancillary support space were also constructed. The work was phased to allow continued operation of the hospital's existing radiology facilities. Existing finishes and building systems within the area of work were upgraded to lessen the facility's impact on the environment.
